Late arrival, delightful surprises

The staff greeted us warmly despite our late arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in. The room was comfortable and offered a quiet retreat for a night on the road.

However, the overall condition of the hotel felt outdated, with visible maintenance issues like peeling paint and worn fittings that could use some attention.

The room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I found the towels far from their original white and the coffee pot and fridge required some serious attention. The door barely opened halfway and got stuck in the carpet, while the AC was stuck on a frigid setting and the mattress was uncomfortable.

The room was quiet, but the shower pressure felt like needles.

The fast Wi-Fi made it convenient for catching up on work after a long day on the road.

easy city access with nearby parks and landmarks

during my stay, i enjoyed the comfortable bed and the quiet area around the hotel, making it easy to relax after exploring the nearby prairie museum of art and history, which is just over 3 km away, and fike park, a pleasant spot only a short walk of about 500 meters, perfect for a leisurely afternoon stroll.

The stay was straightforward and served its purpose during a storm, with the price being quite reasonable for an overnight stop. While the staff appeared welcoming, the overall condition of the room left much to be desired. The limited amenities did not provide a comforting atmosphere, and the lack of food options was disappointing given the expectation of hot and cold dishes. It’s a basic place to crash, but don't expect any frills.
